I believe we're experiencing the death throes of the Biggest Baby of the Baby Boomer Generation who wants to revive the one-hundred year old plans of the failed "Technate of America" movement* from the 1920's-40's in his desire to take over Greenland, Canada, Mexico, Central America, the "Gulf of America" Caribbean, and most if not all of South America at some point.

Yeah, I haven’t spoken out in a while against Trump and MAGA here on social media about the chaos in the world and especially what is going on in my country. Not out of fear, or from giving up, or from being intimidated. Or from worrying to offend or anger one of you reading this. Perhaps only from some exhaustion and trying to find a semblance of peace for just a moment. I'm sick and tired of him but he is like a turd you just can't flush and get to go down the drain, apparently.
So what I say next is long overdue... I guess.
I honestly don't like confrontation, but I hate capitulation even more. I try to avoid it but will probably fail to do that today. I have always stood up to bullies and at this stage of my life, I'm not going to start backing down now. Whether bullies in front of me face-to-face or ... y'know... even if it is just lending my voice here.
But to preface this all quietness on my western front lately... I needed to personally regroup this last quarter as we’ve headed into winter and the holidays. I’ve been trying to find some sort of peace within myself, within my own inner circle, delve deeper into my own creativity and artistic expression, and to spend some valuable time with family and friends during these last few months trying to capture some semblance of happiness and calm before the storm that I see we’re all heading into… not only for just this country… but for our world. It is hard to focus on your own personal life when life itself with everyone has to deal with what is going on in the world.
Trump is perhaps the most conceited political figure in history. I don't believe that can be disputed. I say this as not someone who 'suffers Trump Derangement Syndrome' as their propaganda playlist would spew out that some of you who support him would say I have. I say this as a concerned American. As a concerned citizen of the world. As a concerned human being who feels empathy for those suffering and subjugated. And yes, as someone who is sick and tired of him and wished he had just gone away when he lost his election... but then January 6th, 2021 happened that this past week he is trying to rewrite history (or at least doing so on official government website with his gaslighting) on with his own version of events were that he is making up.
He is also attempting to brand his name on everything hoping to leave a legacy and mark his territory while trying to gaslight those easily deceived to believe what only he says and to not listen or look themselves to see what is really happening. And in the present to make himself look bigger for his own insatiable ego.
(My bingo card says that by the end of the week that Trump will meet with Venezuelan wannabe president Maria Corina Machado and will demand from her... I mean "accept"... the Nobel Peace Prize he covets that was given to her instead of him for a quid-pro-quo exchange (he will probably renege on) so she thinks that she can become his puppet-string leader of Venezuela. However, the Nobel Prize committee has clearly stated that the prize and honor may not be shared or transferred. It is absurb. Sad. It will be pathetic to see actually transpire but will be par for the course with him. Pitiful. I guess it would be a level upgrade in his mind over his recent FIFA Peace Prize Award made especially just for him. And people support and bootlick praise him. Sickening. I digress).
There was an old LIFE Magazine cover from World War Two that had "Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition" stated on the cover. (I actually have that issue in my home library.) Trump isn't a peace president despite him labeling himself. He isn't praying for peace, but is instead planning for war. He is preparing to put us in danger and into global war as he ups the military budget to 1.5 trillion dollars. I guess DOGE isn't around to stop that.
That's the irony that he says or tries to fool you to believe all of these things while he does the opposite. The great deceiver in chief has other plans. (Cue Alanis Morrisette's "Isn't It Ironic"... don't you think?)
But here is the focus of what I wanted to say as I know that I am verbose and I'm already writing a diatribe here...
We have a dictator wannabe president who said a few days ago that the only thing that can keep him "in check" was his "own morality" as he disregards the once established checks and balances of the American government, U.S. Constitution, and international law. And doing so openly defying and not even trying to hide his plans.
Read that again. His "own morality".
This guy. Trump and his morality. I did a spit take on that.
I know we're all poor miserable sinners in one sense or the other... but THIS guy has STAR WARS Emperor Palpatine-like unlimited power desires and says that he is only stoppable by his own morality and nothing else can keep him in check?!?!?
I don't think even some of his voters could truly defend Trump's morality that they've been putting their blinders on since he ran for office in the 2016 election. That's really not comforting to know that we have Trump's morality in place in order to keep him in check for what he wants to do when he has often cognitive questioned mind.
(Though one positive acknowledgement and self-realization from the crime boss czar-in-chief he made himself offhandedly recorded was his mention to his party in a meeting this past week that he is afraid that if Republicans lose the midterm elections that he will be almost immediately impeached. His concern is over himself. So let us make this happen this next election that he recently 'joked' that he 'wants to suspend' the election. Let our votes flip Congress so that article of impeachment can be brought forward and him removed if his cabinet won't evoke the 25th Amendment Section 4 now. Though I hope some folks could do so if they only had courage to stand up against him... especially those in his party).
I don't think you can deny that Trump (allegedly code named "Krasnov") isn't coordinating with Putin. Trump is an ally of Putin and I believe, as many do, that they are working to destabilize NATO for Russia's interest now in another quid-pro-quo. You know, the same Putin guy that invaded Ukraine who Trump literally had our military pull out the red carpet for?
Putin has stated that he wants to reclaim the countries of the former Soviet Union and go into Europe and take it back. And then some... (here is looking at you Finland and Sweden and WHY they finally joined NATO in 2023 and 2024 -- 70+ years later after staying neutral after all these decades. Ukraine would love nothing but to be able to join NATO now. Trump has often criticized NATO repeatedly over the years calling it 'obsolete' has he pushes his 'America first' agenda... which he uses as a grift for his own personal interests and wealth accumulation).
China is gearing up to take Taiwan and have control of or persuasion over other Asian nations and the Pacific. And the "art of deal (steal)" President of the U.S. is willing to carve up the world so that America can have in exchange "the Western Hemisphere"
It's like we're watching in real time the actualizing of the Orwellian 1984 prophecy of the world being divided into three totalitarian superstates of Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia.
(BTW, did you catch all the propaganda this week published by the various official U.S. Government agencies advocating controlling and running Western Hemisphere in a manifest destiny mannerism? They did so here on Facebook with officially sanctioned government ads.)
Our felon president illegally took Venezuela last week, immediately threatens to take control of Columbia, Canada, and Cuba. To interfere with the upcoming election of Brazil. This pathetic bully has threatened to take Panama in the past, and just threatened yesterday to start bombing our neighbor country of Mexico where he says he will be bombing militarily cartels.
Not to mention that he announced yesterday that he will 'do something on Greenland whether they like it or not'.
Yesterday's statement of threatening our NATO ally (and thus breaking the rules of the charter) to take Greenland away from Denmark will turn NATO fully against the U.S. This will destabilize the world in a defining moment in our world history. If he goes through with this erroneous plan and our military complies with his illegal orders... I believe this will impact America forever perhaps on a December 7th, September 11th, or January 6th kind of level. If not more so as it will forever change the balance of power in the world and where our nation... what was the United States of America... will find itself in.
This isn't hyperbole. This isn't conspiracy theory. This isn't fake news. This isn't Trump Derangement Syndrome. This isn't woke liberalism. This isn't rave lunatic rantings.
This is a warning of what I see and what level headed individuals see.
Illegally, unethically and dangerously antagonizing our allies, breaking trust while claiming the world will 'respect us' when what he means is 'fear' him like a mob boss that must get his cut. Placing us at odds with our longtime allies and destroying an alliance that has held together and protected democracies of the world (or at least Europe) for 75 years. Removing us from allegiances and partnerships 'that are not in America's interest' but really what he means aren't part of his planned authoritarian agenda.
The fall of NATO should be enough to frighten us all.
Putin would love nothing more than for Trump to attack Greenland and NATO allies that would bring an end to NATO with the U.S. as the what was the stalwart player traditionally in the past. Former Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev attributed quote during the Cold War era that, "We do not have to invade the United States; we will destroy you from within" will come to fruition after all.
By Golly Gee Beaver... I hope we can keep that from happening if we can tend to business and fix things on our own here. Like real soon.
Historians said the world order realigned coming out of the Imperial dominance and Industrial Age eras around the time of the breakout of World War One. World War Two was truly a continuation of the aftermath of World War One and defined the 20th Century. A Cold War came into play in the later half as we entered the Nuclear Age. Alliances shifted. Now in this 21st Century's Information Age as Baby Boomers are dying, Gen-Xers are overlooked and aging, and younger generations are entering the world stage as modern day "Robber Barron Billionaires" plan our fates...
I truly believe the political and corporate powers are realigning the structure of the world order whether we like it or not. We will not go back to the way things were.
Change is a constant. Change management will have to be the norm. I just hope that change we will face will embrace democracy for all and say no to totalitarianism. I just hope for the future of our world it doesn't fall into a dystopia and instead will embrace more utopian ideas. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one, fellow Nutopians. But the thing is... facing mortality... I know I won't see what transpires a generation or two from now and just hope we can leave this earth (and our country) in a better place than we left it and not Planet of the Apes style blow it all to hell.
I say all of this and I have not even addressed what fascist things are happening here in our country. There is a fight for democracy and to preserve out constitution. Everyone will have to choose sides sooner or later. They will be knocking on your door at some point and you will have to face it then if this keeps up.
I look forward to the day he exits.
I'm not here to debate. I know I'm probably not swaying his diehard supporters. I'm writing all this to express my thoughts on the matter and hopefully somehow this is a drop in the bucket to lend towards the resistance and fight against this man and to stop what is happening. Maybe to encourage others who don't like what is happening. Even if it is just with my social media typed words and thoughts placed on the interwebs.
So keyboard defenders of Trump who are still defending him and want to slap back at me with all sorts of responses and may want to debate me as keyboard warrior yourself... it is truly, but sadly, easier if you just unfriend me on Facebook (and perhaps in life itself) if you don't like what I have to say. Perhaps it is time to depart continued feigned acquaintances.
I know where I stand. You should know who and what fascist goals you have aligned yourself with and where you stand. And if you ever said in a "Oh I should have had a V8" realization that just perhaps your support of Trump was perhaps an error of your judgment because you are a Christian or conservative or have always been a Republican and hate the "libtards". You're no longer playing checkers as this is 3D Star Trek Chess now injecting AI 4D quantum level thinking. This ain't the same political fight of the 20th Century. Or even Post-911 21st Century. Though it sprung out of it, the MAGA Republican Party ain't Reagan's or both Bush's Republican Parties. Those people and ideas are pushed out.
Talk to me later after some cooling off time and if the world is still here and we are still here. I hope we could rebuild things because rebuilding will need to take place.

Anyways, I said what I said. Like it or not. That's how I see things.
I guess I will see in the future if exercising my First Amendment Rights here will earn me a travel ban or designate me as an agitator or something labeled worse.
But as I type this, I am reminded of something and offer this updated phrase you might have learned in typing class all those years ago... "Now is the time for all good CITIZENS to come to the aid of their country."
