Next year, it will be 25 years since I launched my THRILL SEEKER COMICS series inside the black & white pages of SHOOTING STAR COMICS ANTHOLOGY.
This year I will release two more issues of THRILL SEEKER COMICS ANTHOLOGY #2 (next week) and #3 (end of year) and collecting the Ms. Tittenhurst Dame Detective webcomic from about a year ago into a one-shot comic called THRILL SEEKER COMICS ANTHOLOGY OTHERWORLD DETECTIVE MYSTERIES #1 (early summer). All of these comics are illustrated in the format that I've worked in all these years which tends to be on the more photo-realistic approach.
After that…
With this upcoming 25th Anniversary in 2027, I plan on entering a "New Era" in order for me to continue working on THRILL SEEKER COMICS by writing and drawing the series as a once-a-week released Sunday Webcomic with this drawing approach illustrated here that is much more of a looser animated style. This will free me up to draw these comics at a much quicker pace. There will be rotating story arcs focused on different characters in my self-published independent comic series. Old friends and new. My arthritis and eye sight appreciates loosening up to draw more fluid, quicker artwork in this animated style. This is giving me a renewed energy to produce more THRILL SEEKER COMICS on a regular basis that recently working on SEA SHANTY FUNNIES has shown me I might be able to do to breathe new life into my other life’s work with my own comic series.
We will see how it goes. Your mileage may vary, but it is the new road that I want to explore.
